"Out from the dark"

I painted this piece when living in Stavanger, Norway. It was a period of growth for me and I was learning a lot about myself. I always had a fascination for these large cat creatures, and what came out on the canvas when painting this one, was really mirroring my life at the moment. It was my inner showing me that there is a way out from the dark. Hence the name.
